   Hi,
   Great them so far, thanks!

   I would like to add some content (phone number) to the very top of the website to the left of the search bar and feeds. Is there a hook I call in the functions.php of the child theme or another way to do this?

   There's no hook unfortunately:/ You need to copy header.php to your child theme and modify that file directly

   Actually I figured that piece out... but now I have another question. Did you create classes to increase the size of font? If so could you let me know what they are?

   I have copied the header.php file over to the child theme but I'm not sure where or what code to put in there to display a phone number. Could you give me an example and maybe tell me what line of the header.php file to paste it?

   I too would like to display a phone number under the navigation menu like in this screenshot.

   Any guidance would be much appreciated :-)

    I managed to get the image link in the header.php file, but could you help me move the phone number over to the right? I know this is accomplished via CSS, I'm just not sure how to go about doing it. I'm using Google Developer Tools "Inspect Element" tool, but I can't seem to get it moved over. Thanks so much!!!

    element.style is not what you need :)

    You need to target your element differently, i.e. add the id attribute, something like this:

    
<div id="callout">...</div>

    Thanks so much ! Last thing....when I minimize the screen, this image (my phone number) disappears. Is there any fix for that? Basically to include it in the responsiveness of the page?

    from what I can tell, it completely disappears at about 640px, but you may want to try it in your browser too just to be sure
