Hi,
make sure you've got enough memory for the import process

The max import size is 128Mb and the .xml in demo content is only 988KB, so not sure where I need to check for 'enough memory'.

It's not about the file size, it's about memory size. Every process needs some memory, and "big" processes need more memory. The import process is a big one (comparing to he other tasks), because it needs to download all attachments, perform many database queries, etc

Is it a problem that the images of the demo content didn't import? I am obviously recreating all the pages, posts, images, etc. Just wondering if there will be a problem with shortcodes, etc. if the demo content images didn't import.

Of course without attachments you'll get some "blank" areas, but the whole structure should be fine. All attachments are available in the database, just not on the disk

My importation also failed to import the media files. Now the images are blanks but the text is there.
How do I get the images from the database one by one? Any tips?
My importation maximum limit is 64MB, I think that's why the importation did not get all the files like I expected.

Hi,
This can be caused by many reasons:
1) Did you check the option "Download and import file attachments" during the import?
2) Do you have right permissions to your "wp-content/uploads" folder?
3) Did you get any error messages during the import?regards,

Well, to answer to your questions;
1) Yes I checked the "Download and import file attachments"
2) Yes I do
3) No, it said "successfully" imported the filesI have tried to import severally but the media files are so distorted that you can't even see the contents of those media files. Their quality has grossly been scaled down.
Let me know how this can be corrected.

Hi,
I've just imported for you the demo content on your page (as you've asked me via mail).

Thanks Luke. I'm glad that you uploaded the demo content however, the media files are still distorted and appear to be blank. How do I correct this problem? Thanks again.
